Law 54 of 1964 was issued by the President of the Republic on 10 November 1964 . This Law concerning the Administrative Control Authority substitutes Law No.9 of 1963 , Law No.61 of 1964 , and all provisions that go against its provisions. This Law aims to establish the Administrative Control Authority responsible of detecting any neglect in the government apparatus, its branches, public bodies and public institutions and its subsidiaries, public and private associations, and private sector bodies that engage in
public works, through exercising all types of control including financial, administrative, technical and criminal.
