Cabinet Resolution No. 120 of 2022 aims to enhance the freedom of pricing consumer goods within the country in a way that supports commercial competition between retailers and suppliers in the consumer goods sector. In addition to monitoring the prices of basic commodities to ensure the protection of consumers’ rights and ensure that they obtain basic commodities at fair prices, by achieving a balance in contractual relations between retailers and suppliers in the trade of basic commodities.
