Law 80 of 2002 promulgating Anti-Money Laundering Law

Law 80 of 2002 was issued by the President of the Republic on 22 May 2002 and published in the official gazette on 22 May 2002. This Law promulgates Anti Money Laundering Law which mainly deals with the Establishment of an independent Unit with a special nature at the Central Bank of Egypt to combat money laundering.
