Law 34 of 1976 on Commercial Registry

Law No. 37 of 1976 was issued by the President of the Republic on the first of May 1976 and published in the official gazette on 6 May 1976. This Commercial Register Law deals with the process of registration whether for agents or companies . Some of the provisions of this Law: All registrations must be renewed every 5 years ;only Egyptians can be registered ( This Provision was amended in 1996) ; Trade name, and Registration date and number must be shown . This Law also sets the penalities for violationg its provisions.
