Law 89 of 1998 on Tenders and Auctions

Law No. 89 of 1998 on  Tenders and Auctions was issued based on the Egyptian parliament decision on 8 May 1998. It is the original Tenders and Auctions law,  it was amended in 2006 and in 2007; and it outlines the process for Public Tenders in Egypt. It cancels Law No. 147 of 1962 regarding the implementation of the works of the economic development plan, and the law regulating tenders and auctions promulgated by Law No. 9 of 1983, as well as any other provision that contradicts its provisions.
