Royal Decree 22 of 2018 on Amending Competition Protection Law was established based on the Sultan of Oman's decision and published on 17 October 2018 in the official gazette. This decree amends and updates the Competition Protection Law. It regulates the freedom to exercise economic activity and consolidates the principle of market rules and freedom of expression. and prices, in a manner that does not restrict, prevent, or prejudice-free competition.
