Ministerial Resolution No. 245 of 2024 regulates the display of unit prices for consumer goods with the aim of enhancing transparency in product pricing and providing accurate and clear information to the consumer, enabling him to make informed decisions to rationalize consumption and choose the best alternatives. The resolution also contributes to ensuring fair competition between products based on unit price. The resolution also grants the Ministry and the competent authorities the authority to monitor the commitment of retail stores and digital platforms to applying the specified unit prices. In addition, it entitles the consumer to file complaints against retail stores or digital merchants in the event of their violation of the provisions of this resolution.
