Royal Decree No. 2 of 2018 provides for the establishment of  the "Competition Protection and Anti-Monopoly Center," aimed at enforcing laws and regulations related to competition protection and preventing monopolistic practices. The center works to promote fair competition in the markets and monitor practices that may harm competitiveness, ensuring the protection of markets from violations that negatively impact the commercial and economic environment.
