Law No. 659 of 2005  on consumer protection was issued based on a resolution of the House of Representatives on February 4, 2005, and was published on February 10, 2005, in the Official Gazette. This law, in addition to its 2014 amendments, clarifies the regulatory framework for consumer protection in Lebanon.
