Law 17 of 2010 on Labor

Law 17 of 2010 was issued by the President of the Republic on 12 April 2010. This Law containing the Syrian Labour Code cancels Law No.91 of 1959 and its amendments. and the Legislative Decree No. 49 of 1962. This Labor Code set rules and policies for the employed and for the unemployed wishing to work, inside and outside the Republic of Syria, by creating employment agencies for them. It also regulates the relationship between employers and workers.
