The portal provides ESCWA member States with access to a repository of legislative frameworks in the region pertaining to the business environment, and enables rapid access to information on laws, regulations and legislative decrees. For each legislative theme, a report, country profiles, and a dashboard were created to promote the analysis of current legislation and the identification of legislative loopholes in each Arab country. The portal facilitates the exchange of expertise and a comparative evaluation between countries.
